· Provide engineering and construction consulting services for project development

- Inspect railroad infrastructure and provide detailed reports of deficiencies

- Prepare project specifications and scopes of work for railroad, site and building projects 

· Provide project management for construction and renovation of buildings and sites

Railroad Operations Engineer. Sole person responsible for the operation, inspections, maintenance, design, construction and repair of State owned railroad infrastructure. 

·  Design and oversee improvements of railroad track, drainage and bridge projects

· Design and oversee railroad infrastructure repairs and construction after storm events

· Prepare budgets and obtain funding for railroad infrastructure projects

· Design and oversee the construction of at-grade railroad crossings

- Inspect 250 miles of railroad infrastructure and 132 railroad bridges annually

- Provide project management to repair historic RR structures (Bartlett RR Roundhouse)

· Prepare legal railroad agreements between the NH DOT and other parties

- Interface with Towns and Cities through which the Railroad Corridors run
